Shades of grey squares from dark to light are surrounded by white borders.
It is easiest to hide when I am one of many. In nature this strategy is adopted by shoals of fish and flocks of birds.
With data it seems possible to hide in this same way to make things secure, but unlike my eye and mind, complex algorithms and artificial intelligence can quickly uncover those things that might remain hidden to me.
In turn, data is easily hidden from humans because of its scale and accessibility. When once humans had the upper hand when it came to obfuscation, artificial consciousness will be far more affective and adept. As I gaze at this artwork and my eye dances from one square to another, I wonder where I am hiding.
